Juvéderm® VOLITE
ABOUT THE TREATMENT
As we age, the skin's ability to produce hyaluronic acid decreases which results in rougher, drier and thinner skin with a dull complexion. Whilst Juvederm fillers smooth away wrinkles and add volume to facial features, Juvederm Volite uses clinically proven stabilized hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally occurring in the human body with an amazing water-binding capacity that attracts water molecules, that works to improve the skin's overall quality by boosting hydration levels deep inside the skin.
This hydrating microinjection treatment involves a series of hydrating microinjections that provide lasting moisture, improve elasticity, as well as increase smoothness and firmness.
Juvéderm® Volite treatments can be used to improve the general skin quality of:

WHAT TO EXPECT?
BEFORE THE TREATMENT
Juvéderm® Volite treatments consist of multiple very fine injections into the chosen area of skin.
Discomfort is usually minimal and brief. Prior to injection, your doctor may choose to numb (anesthetize) the treatment area with a cold pack or anesthetic cream to further minimize discomfort.
The treatment session takes around 15-20 minutes depending on the areas treated. You will also need to allow time to consult with your doctor prior to treatment.
Usually, only one session is required.
AFTER THE TREATMENT
You will be able to see the results 1-2 months following the treatment.
Following the initial treatment, your body will gradually break down the Hyaluronic Acid over the course of several months. To maintain your wonderful skin, it is recommended to have regular maintenance treatments, approximately every 9 months.
Following the treatment, you may experience some slight redness or minor bruising around the treatment areas, this should subside after a few days, but in some cases bruising may last for up to 2 weeks.
Most side effects are mild or moderate in nature, and their duration is short lasting (7 days or less). The most common side effects include temporary skin reactions such as redness, pain/tenderness, firmness, swelling, lumps/bumps, bruising, itching, or discoloration.
