For tattoo removal, the size, location and density of ink play important roles in how quickly clearance can be achieved, but 4-10 treatments is common for modern tattoos.

The number of treatments for skin revitalization is largely dependent on the clinical condition being addressed but 3-6 treatments are common. Your treatment provider will be able to provide you with a personalized plan.

Tattoo removal and acne scar results are permanent. Skin revitalization treatment results are long lasting, but some pigment conditions can be recurrent and collagen degeneration is an ongoing process of ageing. Patients find that one PicoSure Focus treatment every six months can help prevent accumulation of pigment and slow the appearance of wrinkles, and can be done as maintenance.

Your skin will be numbed prior to the treatment. Most patients experience little discomfort like sensation of snapping a rubber band on the skin. Tattoo removal treatments use more energy, hence you may experience more discomfort, however, you will be prepped with numb cream and cooled air to ease your discomfort.

Post procedure, you will have a generalized redness and mild swelling on the treated area. This last typically for 24 hours, but most redness subsides within the first 12 hours. There will be no bleeding, scabbing, peeling or wounds on the skin. You may apply make-up or concealers post treatment.

Generally, you may resume your daily activities as per usual after the treatment. We advise you to avoid direct, high-intensity sun exposure for a few days after the treatment. Sunscreen application is recommended.
