The procedure starts with microdermabrasion/exfoliation of superficial dead skin cells, where you will feel mild scratching/scrubbing sensation followed by a vibrating massage where the active ingredients from a gel applied prior to the procedure is absorbed/infused into the skin.

OxyGeneo facials are generally not painful, as they are designed to be gentle and comfortable. The treatment involves a three-step process of exfoliation, infusion of active ingredients, and oxygenation of the skin. The exfoliation step feels like a gentle massage, preparing the skin for better absorption. Nutrient-rich gels or serums are then applied and massaged into the skin using the OxyGeneo handpiece. One treatment usually takes around 20-30 minutes, and there is zero downtime.

Immediately after treatment, you will notice a fairer and brighter skin. Your polished new look should be long-lasting, depending on the severity of your skin damage and the number of treatments that you receive. Many people have two Oxygeneo treatments per month at first and then one per month as part of a maintenance plan.

One of the advantages of OxyGeneo is that it has no downtime. Only slight redness may occur and this will vary between customers, however most redness will subside within 24 hours. Make-up can be applied immediately following the procedure, which enables you to return to your normal routine directly after treatment.

Any discomfort experienced as part of OxyGeneo treatment is usually short-lived. This can include redness and swelling, which should subside within a few hours. Some may expect the skin to be dry for several days.
