The Charity Ball 2023 was supported as Platinum Sponsor by The M∙A∙C∙ Clinic
The Latin Woman Association of Malaysia proudly announces the astounding success of the XIV Latin Charity Ball, held on November 11th, 2023, at the Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The event raised a commendable RM158,000.00 (One Hundred Fifty-Eight Thousand Only), all of which will be donated to the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA). The event was supported by the embassies and communities of Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Peru, Spain, Uruguay, and Venezuela in Malaysia.
The XIV Latin Charity Ball not only celebrated a night of cultural richness, but also exemplified the passionate commitment of women supporting women in the fight against breast cancer. The funds collected will be instrumental in supporting two critical projects undertaken by BCWA:
Mitsubishi Triton VGT Purchase:
- The acquisition of a Mitsubishi Triton VGT to facilitate the BCWA team’s outreach to rural and remote areas for breast cancer clinical trials and prevention talks.
Sewing Room Renovation:
- The purchase of materials, sewing machines, and renovation of a sewing room dedicated to crafting temporary prostheses for breast cancer surgery patients.
Malaysia’s premier luxury aesthetic destination, The M∙A∙C∙ Clinic was the Platinum Sponsor at this year’s XIV Latin Charity Ball 2023. As one of Malaysia’s pioneering medical aesthetic institutions for the last 27 years, TheM∙A∙C∙ Clinic’s prime objectives is to also give back to the communities that support the well-being of society, and education for the under-served, in a model that is sustainable in the long term. This is in line with M∙A∙C∙ Clinic’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) ideals.
