ABOUT THE TREATMENT

Regardless of what most beauty companies want you to believe, unfortunately there is no such thing as a cream or lotion that will "lift" or "firm" the skin just by applying it on to your skin. Fortunately today, there are injectable products that can be injected into the skin to produce dramatic improvements without the downtime of surgery.

A Liquid Face Lift is a non-surgical alternative to plastic surgery. By using a combination of injectable fillers and/or muscle immobilizing products such as Botox®, lines can be minimized or erased, and sagging skin can be lifted and filled out.

In some patients the goal of a non-surgical Liquid Face Lift procedure is to lift the entire face. In others, the goal is to lift or contour specific facial features.

It is recommended for treatment of the following:

  • Under eye bags and dark circles can be masked
  • Eyes can be opened up and lids lifted
  • Jowls can be lifted and diminished
  • Corners of the mouth can be lifted
  • Bumps on the nose can be hidden
  • Natural shape can be restored to flattened cheeks or temple areas
  • To correct a variety of wrinkles, folds and lines
WHAT TO EXPECT?

BEFORE THE TREATMENT

A Liquid Face Lift involves the use of advanced dermal fillers such as Juvéderm®, sometimes in combination with Botox®.

The injection procedure takes approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on the areas treated. You will also need to allow time to consult with your doctor prior to treatment.

AFTER THE TREATMENT

As liquid facelift is not permanent, procedures must be repeated every few months with shorter-acting products, or every couple of years with more long-lasting products, depending on the facial area treated. Usually, if Botox® is utilized with dermal fillers, results may last even longer.

Results from procedures can range from subtle to astonishing. Subtlety and moderation is key for great results, as you want to look better not different. It is common for patients who have had Liquid Face Lift procedures to say that they receive compliments on their appearance without others knowing that they have done anything.

Most patients are in and out of the physician’s office with minimal or no downtime. Usually, you may return to your daily routine immediately.

Most side effects are mild or moderate in nature, and their duration is short lasting (7 days or less). The most common side effects include temporary skin reactions such as redness, pain/tenderness, firmness, swelling, lumps/bumps, bruising, itching, or discoloration.
