ABOUT THE TREATMENT
Botox® is used to temporarily impair the nerve function of the muscle it is injected into. This relaxes overactive muscles and reduces inappropriate tension. As a result, wrinkles and fine lines are softened and smoothed out. Newer lines are also prevented from forming. With your less stressed and more relaxed appearance, you can smile, laugh and frown, minus the lines!
It is recommended for treatment of the following:

WHAT TO EXPECT?
BEFORE THE TREATMENT
Discomfort is usually minimal and brief. Prior to injection, your doctor may choose to numb (anesthetize) the treatment area with a cold pack or anesthetic cream to further minimize discomfort.
The injection procedure takes approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on the areas treated. You will also need to allow time to consult with your doctor prior to treatment.
AFTER THE TREATMENT
Within days, you may see a marked improvement in the moderate-to-severe frown lines. Lines continue to improve for up to 30 days.
Visible results have been shown to last up to 4 months. However, individual results may vary. Touch-up injections as well as repeat injections are usually needed to maintain optimal corrections.
Most patients are in and out of the physician’s office with minimal or no downtime. Usually, you may return to your daily routine immediately.
Most side effects are mild or moderate in nature, and their duration is short lasting (7 days or less). The most common side effects include temporary skin reactions such as localized pain, tenderness, swelling, redness, or bleeding/bruising at the injection site.
